Housecore Horror Fest III Day 2 Nails, Cripple Bastards, Dropdead, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Suffocation, more

Day 2 of Housecore Horror Film Fest was strong day for grind, punk, and death metal seeing some of the most extreme sounding bands of the fest lumped together for a whirlwind of intensity as Nails, Poison Idea, Italy’s Cripple Bastards, were met by Dropdead, Crowbar, Negative Approach, Corrosion of Conformity, a rare performance by Agoraphobic Nosebleed, and topped off by none other than Long Island death metal legends, Suffocation.

All of the bands on the bill have been active recently with Nails gearing up to record their Nuclear Blast Records debut and third overall full-length with engineer Kurt Ballou at his GodCity Studio starting on December 27th. The album titled, ‘You Will Never Be One Of Us’ is slated to hit streets in 2016.

New England’s Dropdead continue a legacy of unrelenting and scathing socio-political-based fastcore punk. Pre-usual- The DD boys have new vinyl releases in the works in addition to a recent confirmation of Netherlands DeathFest 2016 (organized by the fonders of Maryland Deathfest) alongside some of extreme music’s most sought after talents.

Agoraphobic Nosebleed are set to issue a new EP in January via Relapse Records entitled Arc featuring 3 tracks showcasing the band’s sludgier, doomier side with 3 songs clocking in at 25+ minutes as they too will join Dropdead at NDF 2016. Italy’s Cripple Bastards continue to tour the world building on 25+ years of grinding faces and melting ear drums. The band is set to break off some Italian shows in December and we’ll be following as the band releases more dates for 2016.

The mighty Crowbar are about to embark on a run southern tour dates with High On Fire as fans will have a chance to catch them in a series of dates from Tennessee to Florida before we usher in 2016. Legendary crossover act Corrosion Of Conformity are also ending 2015 with a series of East Coast dates as the band wraps up a tour with Saviors. Punk legends Poison Idea continue to announce series of notable performances across the US along with Negative Approach. Poison Idea will join Sheer Terror and Child Bite in Amityville, NY on February 15th!
